Description

It is 1940's Los Angeles, in a world were humans and toons co-exist. Famous toon Roger Rabbit (voiced by Charles Fleischer) discovers that his wife, Jessica Rabbit (voiced by Kathleen Turner,) is playing patty-cake with Marvin Acme, when things take a turn for the worst as Roger is accused of murdering the beloved Acme, owner of Toontown. Roger turns to down and out detective and toon-hater Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins), who has a vendetta for toons, in order to help him escape from the uncompromising Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd), and clear his name. With cameos by some of toondoms biggest stars (Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Droopy Dog, Donald Duck), Who Framed Roger Rabbit? stands as a beloved animated feature. Moderated by Karl Staven (Chair of Media Arts at the University of the Arts.)
