- Film Festival
Last weekend, all who attended this year’s Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival were treated to some excellent films, fantastic events, and rousing receptions (as well as some bangin’ parties). I know I had a great time at the Asian Americans In Hollywood panel at International House. I even got to meet Parry Shen and B.D. Wong!
But you'll hear all about my experiences later because this year's PAAFF is not over yet! There’s still a full day of films to check out over at Asian Arts Initiative at 1219 Vine Street.
Check out what’s in store:
PFF21 is in the history books, but we don't run the only film festivals in town. Tonight marks the opening night of the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival presented by HBO, which runs until November 17th. Holding screenings at International House in University City and Asian Arts Initiative at 12th & Vine, the PAAFF is boasting a great program of films showcasing and celebrating the Asian American experience for a broader audience.
The opening film is called 'Shanghai Calling'.
